Full Endoscopic Microdiscectomy

Many patients say that sciatica pain from herniated disc is worse than Childbirth.  This pain can be relieved by a simple surgery through a tiny incision.  Dr. Hua performs this microdiscectomy surgery through an incision smaller than a dime through a small tube and a microscope. In many cases this surgery can be performed through a 6 mm endoscope.  Dr. Hua has trained with top experts in the field of full endoscopic discectomy since 2008 and was one of the first to perform full endoscopic discectomy in Northern California in 2015.

For the full endoscopic discectomy option, the procedure is performed while the patient is AWAKE!  No General Anesthesia!  The risks of general anesthesia are eliminated.  The incision size for this approach less than 9 mm, and a real endoscope is used to remove disc and ligamentous material compressing the nerves within and passing by the foramen.

The full endoscopic spine surgery is what most people refer to as Laser spine surgery.
